Diagnosis Of Hepatitis A Of A Restaurant Worker In Cumulus Inc

Question: Examine about the Diagnosis Of Hepatitis An Of A Restaurant Worker In Cumulus Inc. Answer: Presentation The article has been picked the paper The Herald Sun and it depends on the conclusion of Hepatitis An of a café laborer in an acclaimed eatery of Australia named Cumulus Inc. Burger joints at the eatery were cautioned about the alarm identified with Hepatitis A with which a laborer was analyzed. The individuals who visited the eatery were cautioned that they were under the danger of getting the side effects of Hepatitis A. The Department of Health of Australia was advised about the male specialist who was determined to have this infection. The coffee shops of the café were proposed to visit the doctor for a registration of they visited the eatery (Heraldsun.com.au. 2018). Examination of the article I concur with the means that were taken by the Australian Department of Health which was identified with the counteraction of the spread of Hepatitis An among the individuals of the city through the worker who was determined to have the infection. This progression had the option to expand the mindfulness among the representatives and the guests of the café about the manifestations of ailment and way it can spread. In any case, I don't concur with the conduct that was appeared by the administration of the renowned café. The authorities of the cafés didn't attempt to alarm the coffee shops of the eatery about the issues that can be brought about by the food took care of by the laborer who was determined to have the infection. The eatery proprietors had educated the Australian Department regarding Health about the issue and the office has found a way to comprehend this issue (Richmond et al. 2017). I concur with the explanation that was given by Dr. Finn Romanes, a senior wellbeing doctor that the burger joints who ate food at the café need to visit a general doctor so they can get a free immunization for Hepatitis A. The eatery the executives was likewise made mindful of the manifestations that can happen in the patients experiencing this infection and look for clinical assistance whenever required. The side effects of the sickness that were examined by the specialists included, queasiness, fever, retching, dull pee, yellow skin and yellow eyes also. I concur with the notice that was given to the individuals of the city about the timespan inside which the infection of the malady can assault them. The contamination identified with Hepatitis A can is spread from the dung of the individual who is influenced. The nearness of the influenced laborer in the café can be unsafe for the burger joints and the other staff individuals from the eatery too (van Gemert et al. 2017). I concur with the guidance that was given by the specialist identified with the indications and the delayed consequences of the illness for the staff of the eatery and the cafes also. The Department of Health had spread mindfulness with respect with the impact of the infection of the ailment on the food that will be served to the burger joints of the eatery. The infection can be spread if the laborers don't perfect their hands in the wake of utilizing the can (MacLachlan, Locarnini and Cowie 2015). I concur with the mindfulness that has been spread by the Australian Department of Health pretty much all the parts of the illness and the ways by which it can influence the burger joints who visit the eatery. The sickness can be spread if the by the contaminated items, food and the drinks which are utilized to serve food to the burger joints. I concur with the significance that has been given to the practices identified with individual cleanliness that is required to be polished by the staff of the café. The cleanliness kept up in the eateries is straightforwardly identified with the strength of the cafes who visit this spot. The staff of the cafés need to wash and clean their hands completely after they utilize the can before they contact and handle the food (Thompson et al. 2017). I concur with the means that have taken by the proprietors of the café in regards to the tidy up related activities after the specialist was distinguished with the sickness. The Australian Department of Health had additionally cautioned the cafes about the hazard identified with the ailment before they made booking in the café (Heywood et al. 2017). I absolutely concur with the activity that has been taken by the Department of Health by giving free immunizations to the next staff of the café. The cases identified with Hepatitis A has been on the ascent before this occurrence was accounted for. The Stare government accordingly needed to present two portion antibodies for the individuals who have been on drugs for as long as hardly any months (Waller et al. 2018). I concur that the convenient revealing of the occurrence has been useful in making mindfulness among the benefactors and the cafes of the café about the impacts of the sickness. The dangers identified with the malady have likewise been spread among different residents of the nation after the event of the occurrence. I, anyway don't concur with the defer that has been made by the Australian Department of Health in making strides in regards to the avoidance of the infections. The episode has additionally driven the Department to make strides about the spreading of mindfulness identified with the sickness (Aggleton 2016). End The investigation can be closed by expressing that the Department of Health of Australia and the café had made all the vital strides that were required to forestall the spread of ailment among the coffee shops and the individuals of the city. Be that as it may, the individuals of Victoria were under the danger of this illness from quite a while and the means identified with counteraction ought to have taken some time before the real event of the occurrence. The café proprietors additionally need to spread mindfulness among the burger joints of the eatery with the goal that the staff and the coffee shops can be made mindful of the impacts of the malady. The early advances that could have been taken by the Department of Health of Australia would have the option to change the current circumstance and could keep the occurrence from occurring. These means could be of significant assistance for the smooth activities of the café and improvement of soundness of the residents. References Heraldsun.com.au. (2018).Hep A hazard at top Melb café. Unrefined petroleum represents almost 17 percent of the vitality devoured in the United States. Fuel is one of the principle items created from raw petroleum in the United States. The essential use for gas is in vehicles and light trucks. Fuel created lasting through the year, and is conveyed from petroleum treatment facilities through pipelines to a monstrous dispersion chain serving 167,000 retail stations all through the United States (â€Å"EIA Brochures†, 2004).      The costs paid by customers at the siphon mirror the expense to create and convey fuel to purchasers. Included is the expense of raw petroleum to purifiers, treatment facility preparing costs, promoting and conveyance costs, lastly the retail station costs and duties. Roughly 27 percent of the expense of a gallon of fuel is government, state, and nearby charges. Another 14 percent is a mix of conveyance, advertising, and retail seller expenses and benefits. The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous

The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous Addiction Coping and Recovery Methods and Support Print The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous By Buddy T facebook twitter Buddy T is an anonymous writer and founding member of the Online Al-Anon Outreach Committee with decades of experience writing about alcoholism. Learn about our Medical Review Board Steven Gans, MD Updated on July 17, 2019 4th Edition of the Big Book. Alcoholics Anonymous More in Addiction Coping and Recovery Methods and Support Overcoming Addiction Personal Stories Alcohol Use Addictive Behaviors Drug Use Nicotine Use The book Alcoholics Anonymous, affectionately known by members as The Big Book, is the textbook for the original 12-step recovery program now known by the same name. Authored by Bill W., founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, and many of the first 100 members of the group, it was actually written by committee, with drafts of the book sent back and forth between Bill Ws group in New York and Dr. Bob, the other founder of A.A., in Akron, OH. Many long-time members of the Alcoholics Anonymous program regard The Big Book with the same esteem that others do the Holy Bible, considering it to be divinely inspired. That might stand to reason because the founders of the 12-step program began their spiritual journey of recovery in the Christian-based Oxford Group and borrowed many of that groups and other Christian organizations principles in forming the 12 steps. Consequently, it follows that some would regard The Big Book with a measure of reverence. The Purpose of The Big Book As it says in the forward of the book, We, of Alcoholics Anonymous, are more than one hundred men and women who have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. To show other alcoholics PRECISELY HOW THEY CAN RECOVER is the main purpose of this book. To accomplish that purpose, the Big Book is divided into two main parts. The first part, known as the first 164 pages or the original manuscript explains the 12 step program and how it can be used to overcome the effects of alcoholism. The first part includes Chapter 5, titled How it Works, which contains the 12 steps and is usually read at the opening of every A.A. meeting worldwide. Read Aloud at Most A.A. Meetings The second part of the book contains stories written by some of the original members of A.A. relating their personal experiences with alcoholism and how they found a path to recovery. In the four editions of the book, some of these stories have been deleted and others added, but the message is the same â€" the only way to fully recover from the effects of alcoholism is to practice the principles found in the 12 steps, which can lead to a spiritual awakening for the alcoholic. For those whose lives have been changed by it, the book Alcoholics Anonymous has become more than a mere book â€" it has become a life-long companion. Probably the most well-known part of the original manuscript, which does not have copyright protection, is in Chapter 5 known as How It Works, a section that is read aloud by members at many A.A. meetings. How It Works Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our directions. Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a way of life which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are those, too, who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest. Our stories disclose in a general way what we used to be like, what happened, and what we are like now. If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it -then you are ready to follow directions. At some of these, you may balk. You may think you can find an easier, softer way. We doubt if you can. With all the earnestness at our command, we beg of you to be fearless and thorough from the very start. Some of us have tried to hold on to our old ideas and the result was nil until we let go absolutely. Remember that you are dealing with alcohol â€" cunning, baffling, powerful! Without help, it is too much for you. But there is One who has all power â€" That One is God. You must find Him now! Half measures will avail you nothing. You stand at the turning point. Throw yourself under His protection and care with complete abandon. Now we think you can take it! Here are the steps we took, which are suggested as your Program of Recovery: 1. Admitted we were powerless over alcohol â€" that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care and direction of God as we understood Him. 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely willing that God removes all these defects of character. 7. Humbly, on our knees, asked Him to remove our shortcomings â€" holding nothing back. 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make complete amends to them all. 9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual experience as the result of this course of action, we tried to carry this message to others, especially alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs. You may exclaim, What an order! I cant go through with it. Do not be discouraged. No one among us has been able to maintain anything like perfect adherence to these principles. We are not saints. The point is, that we are willing to grow along spiritual lines. The principles we have set down are guides to progress. We claim spiritual progress rather than spiritual perfection.

He lost the use of his arms and legs. Fortunately the progress of his illness slowed down Despite his growing physical disabilities, he determined to live and make professional progress in the world of science. Hawking explained the beginning of the universe with the help of black holes which Einstein couldn’t answer. Inspite of all disabilities he wrote 6 books through which he changed the perception of human beings about the universe. He had a zero-gravity space flight to encourage public interest in space. He had an attractive family. He got Presidential Medal of Freedom the highest civilian honor in the United States. He is the king of cosmology not because of political power; he has everything not because he is a billionaire. He is a celebrity not because he is a Hollywood or pop hero. A&P and Araby essays

A&P and Araby essays John Updike's A characteristic of both writers' works, each rendition offers its own unique perspective upon the young man's romantic infatuation. Not only are descriptive phrases shared by both stories, but parallels occur with each ending, as well (Doloff 113). What is even more telling of Updike's imitation of Joyce's Araby is the fact that the A & P title is hauntingly close in pronunciation to the original story's title. The theme of A & P and Araby are so close to each other that the subtle differences might be somewhat imperceptible to the untrained eye. Both stories delve into the unstable psyche of a young man who is faced with one of life's most difficult lessons: that things are not always as the...

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire At the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in Manhattan, somewhere around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 1911, a fire began on the eighth floor. What started the fire has never been determined, but theories include that a cigarette butt was thrown into one of the scrap bins or there was a spark from a machine or faulty electrical wiring. Most on the eighth floor of the factory building escaped, and a phone call to the tenth floor led to most of those workers evacuating. Some made it to the roof of the next door building, where they were later rescued. The workers on the ninth floor with only a single unlocked exit door did not receive notice, and only realized something was wrong when they saw the smoke and flames that had spread. By that time, the only accessible stairwell was filled with smoke. The elevators stopped working. The fire department arrived quickly but their ladders did not reach to the ninth floor to allow escape by those trapped. The hoses didnt reach adequately to put out the flames quickly enough to save those trapped on the ninth floor. Workers sought escape by hiding in dressing rooms or the bathroom, where they were overcome with smoke or flame and died there. Some tried to open the locked door, and died there of suffocation or the flames. Others went to the windows, and some 60 of them chose to jump from the ninth floor rather than die from the fire and smoke. The fire escape was not strong enough for the weight of those on it. It twisted and collapsed; 24 died falling from it, and it was not of use to any others trying to escape. Thousands of spectators gathered in the park and streets, watching the fire and then the horror of those jumping. The fire department had the flames under control by 5 p.m., but when firefighters entered the floors to continue to bring the smouldering fire under control, they found charred machines, intense heat and bodies. By 5:15, they had the fire completely under control and 146 had died or suffered injuries from which theyd die shortly. Triumph of the Will' absolve Leni Riefenstahl from responsibility for Essay

Triumph of the Will' absolve Leni Riefenstahl from responsibility for it's Nazi Propagandist impact - Essay Example Although many people argue that Riefenstahl, who is the director, stands out as a deliberate propagandist through this film, others argue that the form of propaganda exhibited is not as a result of her intention. This paper aims at reviewing this movie in light of the historical and philosophical context as far as the propaganda in it is concerned. How Propaganda Comes in To begin with, the proposition that this film absolves Riefenstahl from the propagandist role that this movie plays can be historically challenged. Even though Riefenstahl is in denial of having well understood the heinous nature of Adolf Hitler, history has its own reservations on the same. As such, her excuse can be dismissed as a simple and odd escapist’s excuse since someone with the creativity and originality akin to Riefenstahl’s is expected to see better, especially on an obvious issues such as the activities of the Nazis and create a film which opposes rather than supports such a movement. As i t would be expected in a natural societal setting, Riefenstahl defends herself that she is not a propagandist and blames it all on her naivety and lack of knowledge on the real identity of Adolf Hitler and Nazism when she was forging out this piece of entertainment. On the contrary, one may find it necessary to argue out that this is just a way of freeing herself from the imminent guilt that she compromised truth so much in order to making money and gain fame using this film rather. Praising someone who is not humane might not trace one to a direct injustice but is tantamount to praising Satan, which does not leave him or her innocent anyway. As such, much as the content and style of this book might be delineating Riefenstahl from any form of propaganda, the historical and philosophical reality of the Nazi movement are in contradiction to what she presents. The fact that one of the major characters in this movie is Hitler himself leaves no doubt that Riefenstahl deliberately underst ood what burden of blame there was to carry as she produced this movie. In fact, this movie is a falsified presentation of the facts and the truths as they were during Germany’s historical times in as much as Nazism is concerned. For instance, the way the Jews were inhumanely treated over the years that was a key and most defining feature of the Nazi ideologies, a element of truth that is never presented in an objective manner in as far as this movie is concerned. Given the understanding that Hitler himself approached Riefenstahl to deliberately to have her produce this movie (Riefenstahl, 1935) also leaves little or no doubt that Riefenstahl was fully aware of the propagandist intention in Hitler’s heart and just wanted to use this movie as a tool to accomplish the same. Nothing points out to her denial of this, as there is no any form of evidence of her negotiation with Hitler on how best the reaction or taken care of the world would be tackled given the attempts of the movie to brainwash the people around. The way power has been presented in this movie can be seen as not only falsified but also vague in equal measure. (Reeves, 2004). In this movie, Hitler is brought out as someone who is out to surprisingly bring about cohesion among his people through the endearing speeches he gives to the masses of Nazi followers, which is in contravention of what people really knew about him. The area of diversity management in the hospitality industry, Research Paper

The area of diversity management in the hospitality industry, - Research Paper Example In 2013, Professor Csaba argued that most organizations today are taking on initiatives to oversee a cultural diverse staff and achieve their objectives. In effect, these organizations acquire a position in world’s most competitive markets and create potential for most of their staff members (Csaba, 2013). This argument spawned from the observation that companies that deal with the challenge of overseeing workers from a range of cultural backdrops. The obligation to counter this challenge befalls managers and organization leaders. As a result, diversity management became an area of human resource management that Csaba saw relevant to the study (Csaba, 2013). Csaba justifies overseeing diversity at the workplace as a reality for all transnationals and globalized organizations. Tomà ¡s Valle Costa wrote that encouraging a surrounding without all kinds of discrimination is vital (Costa, 2012). Such a work setting does not favor people based on their age, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or physical abilities. Costa says any hospitality organization ought to integrate the respect for other individuals’ difference in culture. An organization culture with this integration makes diversity management easier. The organization can then have a broad array of backdrops and perspectives that result in an improved decision-making process (Costa, 2012). Researcher Yi Gong agrees with Professor Csaba that cultural diversity is a â€Å"major issue† the American hospitality sector (Gong, 2008). Gong’s study concentrates on examining the transition encountered by hospitality workforces and the status of cultural diversity in these workplaces. The research paper examines these fields by debating opportunities, the advantages and demerits of a culturally varied staff, and offering feasible commendations that HR managers can use to tackle cultural variation effectively. Gong formed a module for HRM graduates seeking to

Single Gender Classes Essay -- Education, Single Sex Classrooms

When girls are asked to express their feelings, or if they feel stressed they can share this information with their teachers and friends. They can also provide details and they will look you in the eye when they are explaining their problem. Boys find it very difficult to talk about their feelings and will not give details unless they are asked specific questions. Even then they will give very little information because they do not know how to communicate what their feelings are. Boys deal with moderate stress well and may actually do better because of it. They also feel excited when faced with threat and confrontation. In school they will thrive if a teacher presents a challenge or competition within a lesson and if they do become stressed they will want to be alone when they are trying to deal with it and they will not show any emotion, so teacher may not be able to tell when boys are stressed. When girls are separated in single sex classrooms, they had a positive attitude, they are very focused on learning, and their behavior is not a problem. However, when researchers looked at the behavioral patterns of boys, they had more fights when girls were not present. They were louder, and more boys were cheating on tests. In addition, the larger boys tended to bully the smaller boys, and the classroom was aggressive and competitive (Jackson, 2002; Gray & Wilson, 2006). Teachers in single gender classes need to enforce strict classroom rules and follow them. Successful studies with single gender boys’ classes have clear, concise, rules and there are consequences for those that chose not to follow the rules. Rewards for appropriate behavior motivated boys and it presented them with the challenge that they thrive on. Developm... ... each lesson. The test scores will be compared between the co-educational and single gender groups. If the test scores are higher on the assessments then a final assessment will be given to confirm the findings. A bar graph is developed for each student (Appendix C) to show the progress of each individual boy in each group. The progress monitoring results will show if the math intervention was successful in the single gender group. Each member of the math department will analyze the survey questions and answers. The survey will show if each boy enjoyed the study and the single gender classroom setting. Each parent will be given a survey (Appendix D). It would be important to the study to see if the parents had any positive or negative influence on their sons. The bar graph and student survey results will be shared with the parents at the student conferences.

Kashmir Dal Lake

Dal Lake has rightfully become an icon of the Kashmir tourism industry. A Himalayan urban lake, it has five basins and a number of channels that are well linked with each other. There are plenty of fishes in Dal Lake and fishery is the second largest industry of the region centered on the lake. The sparkling quiet waters of Dal surrounded by snow-capped mountains on its three sides, undoubtedly mark it as one of the most beautiful lakes of India. It is also the second largest lake in the State of Jammu and Kashmir with numerous gardens and orchards all along its shores. Houseboats form an indelible part of the scenery of the Dal Lake that are always ready to take tourists to a romantic and peaceful ride of the lake and soothe their nerves as the houseboat floats over the slightly rippling waters. They also offer some of the most exotic views of the splendid scenery of the Dal Lake. There are Shikaras that look like small ornate versions of the gondolas of Venice that offers ferry rides to and from the banks of the lake to the houseboats. The shores of the Lake houses the distinct Moghul monuments and the campus of the Kashmir University while the two hillocks overlooking the lake house Shankaracharya and Hari Parbat temples. The glorious Mughal gardens on its shores contribute to the beauty of the Dal Lake. Out of about five hundred gardens laid down in 16th to 17th century, only a few still survive. There have been controversies about the origin of the Dal Lake. While some geologists believe that the origins of Dal Lake lie in the Pleistocene Oligotrophic Lake that once covered the entire valley of Kashmir, others just believe it to be a flood plain lake. The floating gardens of Dal Lake are considered a beauty in themselves. One can find a number of restaurants and hotels at the lakefront that have sprung up, encouraged by the large influx of tourists here.

Sample details Pages: 5 Words: 1607 Downloads: 2 Date added: 2019/05/07 Category Society Essay Level High school Tags: Human Trafficking Essay Did you like this example? There are many social issues that America is experiencing each day. Thousands of people are suffering from these problems, and the number continues to increase each day. One of these issues is human trafficking. Human trafficking is a terrible problem that needs to be stopped, and yet it continues to take place in our world today. There are many causes of human trafficking. The main cause of human trafficking is traffickers. Traffickers lie to people and tell them that they will receive benefits for what they are expected to do. Most of the victims are young and naive, and they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Many people are affected by human trafficking. The biggest type that causes the most effect is sex trafficking. However, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked yearly across international borders. 80% of them are females and young children. There is a huge amount of people being affected across the country even today. There are many different types of human trafficking. Each one is different, and each one has a different number of people affected by it. There are three main types: forced labor, sex trafficking, and debt bondage. Forced labor is when a person is forced to work against their will. Forced labor is related to slavery. Men are mostly affected by forced labor but it can affect women and children as well. It is especially prevalent is the agricultural and fishing industry, as well as mining, construction, and other businesses where there is hard and long work. Most of the forced labor is done outside in the cold and heat. Many of these victims are threatened by the traffickers and they are under rule by them. For this reason, they are unable to get much rest during the night, and if they are privileged to sleep it is mostly for only two to six hours a night, depending on the authority of the trafficker. (International) Sex trafficking affects mostly women and young children. They are promised benefits and payment if they work for them, usually by performing sexual acts. The trafficker will sometimes take them to a house with men inside waiting, and they abuse the woman all night. Sex trafficking is the most common, and it is probably the worst type of human trafficking. Women are physically abused in this trafficking, and they often go nights with no rest. They are dirty, beaten, and malnourished. Women between the age of fourteen and sixteen are generally affected because they are too young and nave to realize what is going on. Victims in sex trafficking are mostly used for drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, delinquency, teenage pregnancy, and abortion. (CITATION) For this reason, spotting a woman being human trafficking is not difficult, but there are many women being affected right now, so we need to be aware that something could easily happen to us one day. Debt bondage is when a person owes a debt to someone and is unable to pay if off. Rather than being placed into labor whi ch the victims do not want, they are forced to work for the person in order to pay off the debt that they owe. Sometimes, they are forced to work with little or no pay at all. They have no control over their debt, so the traffickers usually raise the debt on purpose in order to keep the victims working for them. All the money the victims earn immediately goes towards the paying off of their debt. The victims are beaten and abused if they try to escape. Sometimes the debt will be passed down generations and children will suffer from this because their parents took a loan from someone decades ago. Men, women, and young children are all affected by debt bondage. Today, debt bondage is the closest form to modern slavery (anti-slavery). Human trafficking has an important history. It started thousands of years ago around the globe, but it mainly was known as slavery. However, in the early 1400s, the Europeans started slave trading in Africa by transporting people from Africa to Portuga l, using them as slaves. The British joined the slave trade in 1562. Throughout the 1600s, many countries joined the slave trade, including America. (Yong) Over time, it turned into human trafficking. Men were forced to work against their will, women were used for sexual acts under threatening, and children were ripped apart from their families. Since then, human trafficking has been in effect ever since. It is important to be able to spot a trafficker that might cause danger to a person. There are many noticeable signs that can help in the identification of a human trafficker. Traffickers promise a high-paying job, a loving relationship, or new and exciting opportunities (Polaris, The Victims and Traffickers). Sometimes the traffickers kidnap the victims or abuse them in order to gain control over them. The traffickers find the victims vulnerable, in order to find dependency. (Polaris, The Victims and Traffickers) They promise them ways to help with their weak points and impose con trol upon them. The victims, scared and afraid, agree and become trapped much to their dismay. Then they are under the influence of human trafficking an it is almost impossible to get out. That is why we need to stay away from human trafficking. In order to prevent human trafficking, it is important to know the limits. If someone sends a message to a person through social media and it seems suspicious, do not answer them. By answering them, a person is revealing their identity to a complete stranger. If a person needs help for personal problems, do not go to the public for help. This will put them at risk of being trafficked. If a person is being followed by a suspicious person that looks like danger, call 911. Do not hesitate, it could be for real. Do not take chances or risks. If a person invites someone to lunch or dinner or wants to meet them, it is important to take caution before responding. If a person is being trafficked, they should call the hotline number for human traf ficking at 1-800-373-7888. This phone number is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. These tips should help a person spot a human trafficker. Identifying a person being human trafficking is very difficult, so it is important to know the warning signs of a person being trafficked. These red flag signs are important in order to spot a person being human trafficked. If a person is unable to leave and go without someones permission, providing sexual commercial acts under the age of eighteen, has a pimp/manager, or works for several hours a day and long periods without stopping, this person is a victim of human trafficking. If someone appears malnourished, and bears the scars and bruises of physical abuse, they most likely have a human trafficker on their hands. Signs of no eye contact, social interaction, or official identification documents usually means they are suffering from human trafficking. Even a person lacing personal possessions and appearing destitute coul d easily be under the influence of human trafficking. The most common sign of human trafficking is not being able to speak for themselves. When asked a question, the trafficker or even a third party will answer for them. Another common sign is if the victim is not in control of their bank account, ID, passport, or even their own money, this person is being human trafficked. If a person were to walk up to a victim and interact with them, the victim will most likely be unsure what city or state they are in, share complex stories that are confusing, and protect the person who is hurting them. (Polaris) There are many more signs that are crucial when it comes to identifying victims, but these are some of the main signs. Why does human trafficking matter in our life?
